Parent Expectations

Please use the link to access pupil expectation videos for your child's class. At Woodlands we provide a supportive approach to ensuring all pupils have high expectations of themselves and each other. We would like the wider community of Woodlands to support us in this journey and to enable the best for our pupils.

Here's what we're learning this term:

Our Topic this term is...

Scrumdiddliumptious!

We are learning about how we grow and plant food, food from around the world, and we will be completing lots of scientific investigations to further our knowledge.

In English, we will be using our class novel, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, to inspire our writing of descriptions and newspaper reports. Our Maths will be focusing on place value this term, ensuring we are confident with handling numbers up to 1000.

Timetable:

We have PE twice a week at Woodlands. Our indoor PE is on Tuesday in which we are learning about dance. On Tuesdays, we need to bring our PE kits into school and we will get changed in the afternoons. Our outdoor PE (where we wear PE kits into school) is on Wednesday. This term we will be getting active by learning about Tag Rugby.

Here is a reminder of our school PE kits.
