Safeguarding in Our Curriculum
Your child's safety and well-being are our highest priorities. We embed safeguarding into our daily school routine to ensure every pupil feels safe, supported, and informed.
How We Support Your Child

A Tailored Curriculum: Through our PSHE programme (Jigsaw), pupils learn about personal safety, consent, physical wellbeing, and healthy relationships in an age-appropriate way.

Responsive Support: Alongside whole-class teaching, we offer 1:1 and small-group pastoral support when sensitive issues or specific individual needs arise.

Online Safety: Digital citizenship is embedded across every year group. We actively guide children on safe internet use and quickly address emerging online trends.

Expert Partnerships: We work closely with families and external professionals—including community police officers and SARI—to address local challenges and keep our community safe.
Empowering Our Pupils
We teach our pupils how to make safe choices and ensure they always have a voice.

Daily Awareness: Regular assemblies and daily routines reinforce safety protocols, including how pupils can identify staff and authorised visitors by their lanyards.

Trusted Adults: Every child is encouraged to identify "trusted adults" in school whom they can talk to whenever they feel unhappy or unsafe.

Accessible Outlets: Classrooms feature Worry Boxes, "Cuddle Teddies," and "Worry Monsters" to give children comfortable, pressure-free ways to express their feelings.

Holiday Support: We ensure pupils know how to reach independent services like Childline (0800 1111) so they always have access to help when school is closed.
