In Nursery and Reception, children's learning is captured in class floor books. Displayed proudly in our classrooms, these books allow children to revisit and share their work. When moving up, each floor book transitions with the class into Year 1. Over time, pupils build a wealth of knowledge through our Million Dreams curriculum, continuously drawing on past learning to make connections as they grow.

Year 1 children will continue to use floor books and then transition to books and booklets which supports the transition to Year 2.

During Year 2 children will gradually transition to books for all lessons and from Term 5 onwards 'Million Dreams' oversized books will be used to capture learning related to the primary driver of the curriculum. The aim of these books is to create individualised encyclopaedias of knowledge that the children acquire during their time at Woodlands Primary.  These books will make lovely keepsakes for your children to share with their children!
