By fostering neurodiversity awareness, mutual respect, and safe environments across our school community, we empower every pupil to feel proud, supported, and ready to succeed. As a UNICEF Rights Respecting School, we actively celebrate diversity, champion protected characteristics, and ensure every child's voice is heard and valued.

Discrimination occurs when a person or group is treated unfairly because of who they are—including their race, sex, religion, nationality, ethnicity, or other personal characteristics. When unfair treatment is based specifically on someone's race, it is known as racism. We are committed to challenging all forms of discrimination to ensure a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where everyone belongs.

In our assemblies and classrooms, we use great books and stories to bring diversity, equity, and inclusion to life for our children. We choose books that celebrate different cultures, faiths, disabilities, neurodiversity, and family structures, ensuring every child can see themselves in a story while also learning about the wider world. By sharing inspiring books about role models like Malala Yousafzai and Helen Keller, alongside tales of everyday kindness and community, we help our pupils build empathy, show respect, and celebrate what makes everyone unique.
