Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) – 76.% Good Level of Development Our Reception pupils achieved an outstanding 76.% Good Level of Development (GLD), comfortably exceeding the national average of 68%. Personal development was a standout highlight, with 90% of pupils demonstrating exceptional self-management skills.

Year 1 Phonics Screening Check – 86.% Pass Rate Year 1 pupils delivered a record-breaking performance with an 86.0% pass rate, marking our highest result in six years and significantly topping the national average of 80%. An impressive 72% of passing pupils achieved 'highly secure' scores, reflecting deep phonics mastery.

Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check – 21.9 Average Score Year 4 pupils demonstrated strong mathematical fluency, achieving an impressive average score of 21.9 out of 25. Over 43% of the cohort reached the top performance bracket, highlighting multiplication tables confidence in the year group.

KS2 Outcomes Key Highlights

  • Writing Exceeded National Averages: Writing performance surpassed the national baseline, with 75% of pupils achieving the expected standard (compared to 73% nationally) and 10% working at Greater Depth.

  • Reading Performance: 72% of pupils achieved the expected standard with a strong average scaled score of 105.1, while 23% reached higher standards.

  • Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling: 72% met expected standards with an average scaled score of 104.7, and 25% attained higher standards.

  • Mathematics & Science: 65% achieved expected standards in Maths (average scaled score of 102.9), and 77% achieved expected standards in Science.

  • Combined Core Attainment: 60% of pupils achieved expected standards across Reading, Writing, and Maths combined, with 7% reaching higher standards across all three core subjects.

  • Data: Steady results of 79% (2022–23), 81% (2023–24), and 79% (2024–25) led into a strong rise to 86% in 2025–26.

  • Benchmark: Tracks at or above national benchmarks, pulling ahead of the 82% national average in the latest year.

Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check (MTC)

  • Trajectory: High levels of mastery with fluctuation in top scores and consistently strong average overall marks.

  • Data: Full marks (25/25) shifted from 41% (2023–24) to 37% (2024–25) before rising to 44% in 2025–26. Average scores peaked at 22.7 in 2024–25 before settling at 21.9 in 2025–26.

  • Benchmark: Average scores have remained consistently above national means (20.6–21.6).

Key Stage 2 Outcomes

  • Combined RWM Recovery: Combined Reading, Writing, and Maths expected standard dipped to a low of 48% in 2024–25 before making a strong recovery to 60% in 2025–26 (approaching the 63% national average).

  • Writing Upswing: Rebounded sharply to 75% achieving the expected standard in 2025–26 (up from 62% in 2024–25), outperforming national averages (73%).

  • Reading Stability: Stabilised at 72% in 2025–26 after a drop from a peak of 85% in 2023–24.

  • Maths Decline: Experienced a gradual four-year decline in pupils meeting the expected standard, moving from 77% (2022–23) down to 65% in 2025–26.
