Reception (Early Years)

  • Good Level of Development: 76% of pupils achieved this milestone, beating the current national average of 68%.

  • Personal Growth: 90% demonstrated exceptional self-management and independence.

Year 1 Phonics

  • Pass Rate: 86% passed—our highest score in six years, well above the 80% national average.

  • Reading Mastery: 72% of passing pupils reached the highest score tier, demonstrating strong reading foundations.

Year 4 Times Tables

  • Average Score: 21.9 out of 25.

  • Maths Fluency: Over 43% of pupils achieved top-tier scores.

Key Stage 2 (Year 6 Outcomes)

  • Writing: 75% met expected standards (beating the 73% national average); 10% achieved Greater Depth.

  • Science: 77% met expected standards.

  • Reading: 72% met expected standards; 23% achieved higher standards.

  • Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling: 72% met expected standards; 25% reached higher standards.

  • Maths: 65% met expected standards.

  • Combined Core (Reading, Writing & Maths): 60% met expected standards across all three subjects, with 7% achieving higher standards in all three.

Looking across the last three years, our school shows sustained growth in early years and strong recovery momentum in Key Stage 2.

Reception (Early Years)

  • Steady Growth: Pupils reaching a Good Level of Development improved steadily from 72% in 2022–23 to 76% in 2025–26.

  • Above National Average: Consistently beat national benchmarks (67%–72%) every single year.

Year 1 Phonics

  • Record Peak: Pass rates climbed to a four-year high of 86% in 2025–26 (up from 79% in 2022–23).

  • Pulling Ahead: Comfortably beat the national average of 82%.

Year 4 Times Tables

  • Top Performers: A record 44% of pupils achieved a perfect score of 25/25 in 2025–26.

  • Consistently High: Our average score (21.9) remains higher than the national average (20.6–21.6).

Key Stage 2 (Year 6 Outcomes)

  • Writing Bounce-Back: Rebounded sharply to 75% meeting expected standards (up from 62% the previous year), beating the national average of 73%.

  • Combined Core Recovery: Combined Reading, Writing, and Maths jumped from a low of 48% last year up to 60%.

  • Reading: Stabilised at a solid 72% meeting expected standards.

  • Maths: 65% meeting standards, highlighting a key focus area for targeted support moving forward.
