Performance

A great start

At the end of Reception, children at Woodlands achieve well above the National average and have a better chance of success.

Our results in Key Stage 1 are above national in all areas and reflect the hard work of our pupils and ambition of our school.

Achievement and Progress above National at Key Stage 2

Our data shows that children who attend Woodlands have a BETTER CHANCE OF SUCCESS than if they attended other schools. We are one of the TOP THREE performing primary schools in Yate. Both our progress score (+2.3) and attainment (90%) put our school in the top 20% of schools for writing.

Good behaviour is rewarded

At Woodlands, we strongly believe that children have the right to learn and teachers have the right to teach in disruption free classrooms. Good behaviour is rewarded each term.

Engaging pupils

We recognise the value of physical education and have strong links with Bristol Sport. We place emphasis on the importance of developing the whole child with our extensive range of extra-curricular opportunities.

We offer a breakfast club run by experienced staff and have excellent links with Barnwood Buddies who will collect children after school.

Performance data and results

Schools are not required to publish their exam and assessment results from the 2019 - 2020 academic year as these have not been published as performance measures by the Secretary of State. We will continue to display our 2018 - 2019 performance measures until new measures are published. The results below are therefore not current.
