Religious Education
Religious education offers children the opportunities to reflect, discuss and develop confidence in their knowledge and understanding of different religions that prove to be essential for life in modern Britain. Pupils are given the chance to work collaboratively and independently in exploring the various religious beliefs which help them build their own world view.
In Woodlands Primary, we use “handy” way to vocabulary to support children with the most crucial information for each of the religions we learn.
Similar to our creative curriculum we recognise the benefits of using knowledge organisers, therefore they are part of our RE learning journey . They are used by pupils and teachers to retrieve key information and to support children in memorising the information better.
